James Oliver Durfee- Owner of Towerworx
USMC Veteran, legal investigator and 28 years in Telecommunications. James started a contract company in 1994 providing microwave maintenence and trouble shooting.
In 1997, James engineered and built a solar powered signal beam bender for American Telecasting.
In 2001, James became involved with installation, commissioning and integration, RF optimization and on air troubleshooting of cellular networks ground based equipment and switches.
By 2003, James was the Primary "go to" SME for Nortel Networks GSM. Training Carriers Field and switch technicians in the US, Central and Latin America on all aspects of BTS and Switch equipment and network maintenance.
In 2004, New York and 2008 Denver, James designed and built two mall DAS systems for T-Mobile. In 2003, 2014 and 2015, James designed and installed antenna sharing solutions For Edge Wireless and AT&T.
Through the years, James has managed and performed large scale upgrade projects for AT&T and T-Mobile all over the US. In 2012, James added Cell Tower construction and all Tower related services to his repertoire.
